limited view fallacy

limited view fallacy

limited view fallacy

every second that we lose by doing nothing infinite possibilities and chances are lost but we always define a limited bubble for ourselves and make it the metric for our happiness.

winner of grade n and n+1 leagues are very happy cause they are the 1st in their own bubble but everybody else is sad cause they are not. another example: consider our rating, score, income, … is 50. if we believe we deserve 60 we always feel bad but if we see ourselves at 40 we feel happy all the time. so different self-concept leads to totally different feelings even if all the circumstances are the same.

when my parents remind me of my postponed tasks i get angry of them reminding me the harsh reality but the truth is that their reminder has no impact on reality.
