all must choose
choose what do you want limitation, exchange, sacrifice, uncertainty, probability, gamble, risk, fuck, judgement call, try
everything is a choice. We are constantly choosing every second of our life and even when we are doing nothing it’s a choice itself. (Dubiety: Of course I know that we might have many options, few options or no option at all. I don’t convince myself in mind opium way to believe there are always options for us. But generally speaking and not thinking strict: we are constantly choosing.)
newton’s third law, The only way of getting somewhere is to leave something behind.
if i choose nothing, i will get nothing.
If I don’t know what I want, I can’t judge myself for not achieving it.
My choice is not what I’m thinking, saying or writing but what I’m actually doing right now.
limitation
my resources (time, money, power, people, …) are limited. so I have to choose on what am I spending on.
Exchange
World is an ocean of options and possibilites and to choose one of them means to lose the others, so every choice has an exchange in its essence. This whole life is a big trading system, it’s to constantly exchange assests with each other and one who can’t stand to lose anything will gain nothing.
Everything comes at a price.
sacrifice
there are many occasions in which the only way to move on is to sacrifice and cut our own hand, otherwise we stuck in a certain point and don’t go any further. question is, am i willing to cut my hand?
To earn more than everybody, you should be willing to lose and sacrifice more than everybody.
those who can’t sacrifice anything, can’t change anything and deserve nothing. If I can’t let it go, it’s not worth holding on to.
trade off & sweet spot
it’s a trade off. the final reason is to live in peace free from fighting but to gain that i have to fight. so if i fight all of my time it would be opposite of living and if i don’t fight at all i will gain nothing. so i have to choose a sweet spot in the middle.
Probabilities
Every choice is gamble. but when its probability is a very high number we simply take it as an absolute 100
Source Dubiety
For every choice there is always dubiety about the source triggering all the thoughts:
Maybe it’s what I’m forced to do, maybe it’s what I want to do, maybe it’s what I choose to do, maybe it’s what beaten into my source code by my parents and society, Maybe it’s my fear or pride or ego or superego or id that’s choosing, maybe it’s all a big conspiracy theory …
But no matter which one is true, in the end I have to choose.
Buridan’s Ass
Not choosing is a choice itself and most of the time the worst one.
Efficient Decision Making Time
Adagio
The perfect decision making duration is 8 minutes and 34 seconds.
Everyday I wake up I listen to Adagio and decide whether to leave or to stay and fight one more day.
Risk
higher risk means bigger reward in exchange for bigger cost. so it’s all a tradeoff and i am responsible to choose what i want.

Any worthwhile venture involves risk.
Risk is the natural product of uncertainty. It’s the relationship between sizes of outcome and danger. Every choice is a gamble with it’s own risk
The three most harmful addictions are heroin, carbohydrates, and a monthly salary.
World is full of lonely people afraid to make the first move.
I’m not gonna let the fear of striking out keep me from playing the game.
50% chance of winning 1 or 10% chance of winning 5?
choosing to risk and play for higher reward with bigger risk and pain at least would make me sure that i’m not running away because i’m afraid.
risk of making a mistake vs. risk of doing nothing

try
I’m not sure if it’s possible or not but the only way to find out is to try with everything I’ve got.
i can choose to do many things. they might be possible or impossible, i might be able to commit to them till the end or leave them half way through, but what matters is that how much i realy try?
hard choice
id, ego and super ego aside, we almost always know what is the best choice but we fail to choose it because it’s almost always the scariest, hardest and most painful option.
nigga
sometimes we have only one choice and as much hard as it is, it’s very simple and obvious to see that choice. like when you are a black person in old america and have to work your ass off in cotton fields or you’ll be punished by the world.
reframe
there are always infinite possible choices and having no choice means to having 1 choice with huge cost-benefit gap in compare with other choices. (it can be comparing +1000 to +1 or -1000 to -1)
questions
what does it mean to choose the best choice? what is the best choice? if we know it why we choose sth else? pain? short term best choice vs long term?
infinity
there are infinite right and wrong choices on different basises: short term or long term thinking, playing field, goals, needs, assets, thinking coordinates, principles, …
or is there even any right or wrong?
